2017 Awards Banquet

Kentucky Reining Horse Association’s annual banquet will be held Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at the Elmer T. Lee Clubhouse located at the great Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. The evening will begin with a complimentary distillery group tour and tasting available at 5:00 p.m. with our banquet event beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. Invitations have been mailed out to all 2016 members. However, anyone is invited to join us for an evening of bourbon tasting, dinner, music, auctions, laughter, and most of all celebration! Cost at the door will be $45. If you would like an invitation sent to you before January 27th or have any questions please contact Amy Colston at ajpcolston@aol.com.  Capital Plaza Hotel will be the host hotel. Located 1.3 miles from Buffalo Trace. Free transportation to and from event will be provided. Event rate of $99 Saturday night with free hot breakfast bar Sunday morning. Also has an indoor heated pool and bar area. Reservations can be made by calling 502-227-5100 using code 2208.

Help support the club by donating items for our traditional silent and live auction banquet event. No item is to small! You can bring item/items to the banquet. Contact Kara Gray-Frye at 859-333-2214 with any questions.

Nominations will be held for Vice President, three board  members, and secretary/treasurer for 2017.  If you would like to be included in the nomination or would like to nominate someone please contact club President Chuck Deputy at chuck.deputy@in.usda.gov.
